‘Beyond the headlines’
It’s safe to say when the press got wind of Prince Harry’s relationship with Suits star Meghan Markle back in 2016, they captured headlines around the world and the media and the public became totally engrossed with their love story.
Three years on they are now married, having become the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and have a baby – Archie Mountbatten-Windsor who is nearly one – and most recently they’ve taken their paths into their own hands, having stepped down from royal duties last month.
While the couple cited their main reason for leaving the royal family was due to their privacy, the couple have hardly been able to escape the media glare. They were pictured by paparazzi in their temporary Canada home earlier this year, and have been spotted out in Los Angeles, where they are currently residing, multiple times.
It has now been revealed a tell-all book is being released about Harry and Meghan, written by royal correspondents Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand.
Titled , the book promises to go “beyond the headlines to reveal unknown details” of the couple’s life together and also aims to dispel any misconceptions that have been made about them.
“When news of the budding romance between a beloved English prince and an American actress broke, it captured the world’s attention and sparked an international media frenzy,” the description of the book states.
“But while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have continued to make headlines — from their engagement, wedding, and birth of their son Archie to their unprecedented decision to step back from their royal lives — few know the true story of Harry and Meghan.”

In a further statement from the royal authors, Scobie and Durand, they reiterated how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been “inaccurately portrayed” in the media.
“The aim of this book is to portray the real Harry and Meghan, a couple who continue to inspire many around the world through their humanitarian and charitable work but are often inaccurately portrayed,” the statement said.
“Our mission has been motivated by a desire to tell an accurate version of their journey and finally present the truth of misreported stories that have become gospel simply because of the amount of times they have been repeated.”
The statement concluded saying, “It is thanks to our sources that we have been able to share the definitive story of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
