Coronavirus UAE: Alabbar Enterprises is feeding over 3,500 people a week

Supporting the community

As UAE continues to tackle the further spread of coronavirus through the country, companies are stepping up to support those more vulnerable.

Alabbar Enterprises have launched a CSR initiative, ‘Helping Hands’, to support the community and deliver wholesome charity meals for those in need. Every week they will be donating over 3,500 meals a week with the help of their restaurants and suppliers. The homemade nutritious meals will be made fresh every day.

Brands on board include one of the Dubai Mall’s most popular cafes Two At Symphony as well as Karak House, GIA, Angelina, Social House, Markette and Candylicious.

“Helping hands is a reflection of the unity of the Dubai community, both individuals and organisations,” explains CEO of Alabbar Enterprises, Tyrone Reid.

“We’ve been blessed to have the huge support of our guests that visit our businesses and we wanted to share those blessings in return. Using our kitchens, working with our chefs and collaborating with our network is how we aim to give back during this challenging time.”

The initiative is in collaboration with their charity partner, Community Solidarity Fund Against COVID-19, and there is a dedicated website www.aaent-marketing.com to track the amount of donations and for companies to get in involved.
