With Sole DXB kicking off today, we take a closer look inside one of the main spaces at the streetwear festival.
Burberry is joining the line-up for the first time with their concept space designed to mimic the look and feel of their two recently renovated stores – one in Mall of the Emirates, and the flagship on 121 Regent Street in London.
Bringing Riccardo Tisci contemporary vision of the heritage house to Dubai Design District, the pop-up will showcase pieces from Burberry’s latest collections for men and women, including the Lola bag, the new Arthur sneaker in a variety of colours and a selection of Monogram motif products.
Trust, you’ll be seeing everyone Instagramming the space that features a facade adorned with the Burberry logo and an illuminated, rotating Thomas Burberry Monogram. A scaffolding globe structure sits at the entrance, which features an interior colour palette of brand’s beige and walls and plinths constructed in a variety of materials and textures – from mirror to high-gloss finishes. The ground floor features a blank wall for you to illustrate and decorate, inspired by the house’s Bond Street store in London.
Make sure to check out the the second floor roof terrace – with panoramic views of the festival – that will play host to a series of events throughout the three day festival.
