Everything we know so far about the shows airing Ramadan 2020

What a line-up!

Ramadan 2020 maybe four months away, but the preliminary list for the up-coming TV dramas has been released and this is what we know so far.

Here is what to expect:

Zay El-Shams 2 – Dina El-Sherbiny

After the success of her series last Ramadan, Dina is returning with the second season of Zay El-Shams. In the series, the actress plays the role of Nour, a lawyer who’s older sister, Farida is killed early on. As she looks for her murderer, fingers start to point to some of her closest friends. The first series ended on a cliff hanger so fans will definitely tune in for another captivating performance.

2020 – Nadine Naseb Njeim

Last Ramadan, Nadine Naseb Njeim drew in audiences with her tragic romance series Khamsa W Nos, where she starred alongside Qusai Khauli. So for next year, the duo are returning again with new series, 2020. Not much is known about the plot of the series, but we are excited for their return.

El-Nasabin – Nelly Karim

This series was expected to air last Ramadan but has been pushed to 2020. The queen of Egyptian drama is returning with a new series staring alongside heartthrob Asser Yassine. Not much has been revealed regarding the plot, but knowing Nelly, she will probably have us at the edge of our seats all month.

El-Nehaya – Yousef El-Sherif

Youssef El Sherif is set to return to the Ramadan series next year with . The series will be different than anything we have seen before, as the actor plays the role of an technology engineer, who is trying to tackle a crisis that hits the world 50 years from now, but everything changes when he meets a cloned robot. The actor will be joined by our December 2018 cover-star Dorra.

Valentino – Adel Emam

This series was set to premier last Ramadan but did not as the production was not complete. Egyptian legend Adel Emam will be returning with the role of Noor Abdel-Majid, bringing his charismatic charm to this comedy about an the owner of an International School Group. As usual the show will be directed by his son Rami Imam and will star Dalal Abdelaziz, Dalia El Beheiry and Hamdy Al-Merghany.

El-Prince – Mohamed Ramadan

It wouldn’t be Ramadan without a Mohamed Ramadan series, and the action star will be returning again. In the series, he plays an orphan who just lost his mother and enters into a dramatic conflict with his siblings. Starring alongside him is actress Ghada Adel.
