Who is Ewan McGregor?
Ewan Gordon McGregor OBE was born on March 31, 1971.
The Scottish actor and singer is best known for starring in the Trainspotting films, as well as his role in the Star Wars film franchise.
He first broke into mainstream acting when he bagged the lead part of the Channel 4 series Lipstick on Your Collar in 1993.
McGregor won Best Actor in Film for Trainspotting at the BAFTA Awards and a Golden Globe for his performance in Fargo.

The Sun revealed that Ewan is reportedly making his anticipated return to the franchise – 14 years after he last appeared as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the franchise.
It’s being speculated that an official statement regarding Ewan’s comeback should be expected sometime this month, while Cinelinx believes the announcement won’t be made until D23 Expo next weekend.
It went without saying that fans were absolutely stunned by the news, having wasted no time to let their thoughts be known on social media.
One asked: “Is the Ewan McGregor news true because I am going to faint and cry?”
Another added: “There’s a rumour that Ewan McGregor is returning as Obi Wan and I’m GIDDY.”

The 48-year-old actor made his debut playing the character in the 1999 hit The Phantom Menace while his last appearance came in 2005’s Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.

The Sun revealed the Scot, 47, shared a passionate kiss in a London diner with his Fargo co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead, 33 at the end of 2017.
