5 Meghan Markle Approved Holiday Looks

The other day, I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and there were — I kid you not — five Meghan Markle posts in a row. Clearly I am following the right people. It’s been an INTENSE year for the royals, but we can all get behind some good ol’ fashion inspiration from our American duchess. We pulled some of our favorite MM looks to help you plan your lewks for all your holiday events. Happy dressing!

1. The Statement Coat

The entire Everygirl HQ is obsessed with this coat. It is the perfect neutral-yet-statement-making piece to complement your winter wardrobe. This works bundled up for outdoor holidaying (Christmas market, anyone?) or over a chic all-black ensemble a la Meghan above. Every time Meghan wears black pants, an angel gets it’s wings.

2. The Ultra Classic Stunner

This may be my favorite thing Megs has ever worn. The perfectly coiffed hair. The hand hold. The midi length. The boxy clutch. Harry’s face. IT’S ALL FIRE. I love the impeccably fitted sexiness of this, while still being subtle enough for any fancier family or office event.

3. The Pop of Color

Red for holiday? Groundbreaking. But why mess with the classics, amiright. There’s nothing more festive n’ flirty than a bright pop of color to help you make a vibrant splash at any event. Take a cue from the queen of our hearts and go for a classic, flattering cut and minimal accessories to let the shade really sing.

4. The Midi Skirt

When I was little, I thought being an adult meant wearing a pencil skirt all the time. My current uniform of leggings and a crewneck has really let seven-year-old me down. But I love the unexpected vibe of a sassy pencil for evening. As always, the Markle Sparkle does not disappoint on the inspiration front. Wear this exact look to your office party and then take the elements and up them (think sparkles, chiffon, sheer) for a night on the town.

5. The tone-on-tone

I am tempted to buy everything I own in like five colors so I can do a monochrome look every damn day of my life. The texture and depth that you get with a tone-on-tone look is so utterly chic — and perfect for holiday! Go for winter whites, deep emeralds, cheery reds, or velvety burgundies for a stand-out look that feels festive yet fashun.
